First quarter: Dresden Airport with 145.606 travelers

145.606 passengers used Dresden Airport from January to March. Despite the more than 160 flight cancellations due to strikes, this corresponds to the level of the same period last year.

In March, the number of passengers increased by around two percent to 60.385 compared to the same month last year. The number of aircraft movements rose by 2,2 percent to 3.985 in the first three months.

In total, Leipzig/Halle and Dresden airports had 477.399 passengers in the first quarter; 15,2 percent more than in the comparable period of 2023. At 21.556 take-offs and landings, the number of aircraft movements was five percent below the previous year's level.
