The passengers of Air Malta flight KM483 had twice as much bad luck on the Geneva-Luqa route on September 2, 2023. After a delay of around an hour, the plane had to land back after around 30 minutes of flight time.

It wasn't until shortly after 22:30 p.m. that we took off again, but we had to land again in Geneva at around 23:00 p.m. The flight was then canceled. Air Malta emphasized in a statement that both return landings were made for safety reasons. The passengers would have been accommodated in a hotel and technicians would have taken care of the Airbus A320 with registration 9H-AEP.
