In Germany, the first reductions in the Greek offer for the summer of 2022 are becoming apparent. Ryanair and Condor have taken some routes out of sale or reduced frequencies on others.

In the previous year, summer holidays in Greece were in high demand and growth was even achieved in some regions. Not surprising: This year, too, many airlines are relying on destinations in this state. However, demand may have suffered an initial dip, as the first providers, Condor and Ryanair, are deleting some Germany-Greece routes from the 2022 summer flight schedule.

At Condor, the flights from Berlin to Rhodes, Kos and Heraklion have been removed from the flight plan. Ryanair has removed Cologne/Bonn-Chania from the program. Furthermore, the Irish low-cost airline is taking a number of routes between Italy and Greece out of the programme. They also no longer want to offer Tel Aviv from Santorini.

Ryanair has reduced the frequencies between Berlin and Heraklion as well as Chania. The Corfu route from Karlsruhe/Baden-Baden is also affected. The routes mentioned are only to be served once a week.
