The fourth Airport Run will take place at Graz Airport on June 5, 2025. Up to 800 participants are expected to compete on a 5,8-kilometer course in close proximity to take-off and landing aircraft. The event, organized by the HIKIMUS Event & Advertising Agency, enjoys great popularity and has consistently been fully booked in recent years.
The race begins at 19:00 p.m., and participants can check in and pick up their bibs starting at 13:00 p.m. After a group warm-up, the starting gun will fire, and the first runners are expected to cross the finish line in about 20 minutes. The awards ceremony will take place at 20:15 p.m., followed by music to round off the evening.
In addition to the athletic competition, the focus is also on the charitable cause. A portion of the proceeds goes to the Sterntalerhof children's and family hospice, which cares for seriously ill children and their families. The entry fee is €25 per person.
