Tour operator Springer Reisen has launched a new direct flight from Graz to Mykonos at short notice. From August 25 to October 6, 2025, the Greek Cycladic island will be served every Monday with a Dash 8-400 operated by Avantiair. This new connection complements Springer Reisen's late summer offering, which also includes additional capacity to the island of Naxos.
According to Managing Director Andrea Springer, the direct connection is particularly attractive for travelers who want to explore the Cyclades in a relaxed manner outside of peak season. From Mykonos, guests can conveniently continue their journey to Naxos by private boat transfer. Upon request, customers can also combine their trip with a detour to the islands of Tinos or Syros. Those wishing to visit Mykonos before August 25 can still reach the island by flying from Graz via Paros.
Wolfgang Grimus, Managing Director of Graz Airport, is pleased about the new connection, which expands the Greece offering from Graz to a total of nine destinations. He emphasizes the continued popularity of Greece as a holiday destination and the approximately 35 destinations now directly accessible from Graz Airport. Mykonos, known for its turquoise sea, fine sandy beaches, whitewashed houses, and lively nightlife, is considered an attractive destination for a varied vacation.
The new direct connection offers a convenient travel option for holidaymakers from Styria and the surrounding area who want to explore the Greek islands of the Cyclades. The flight time from Graz to Mykonos is approximately two and a half hours.
