Hanover Airport recorded an increase in passenger numbers this year. However, these are below the passenger numbers before Corona.

Hanover Airport has increased this year compared to the previous year. By the end of November, the airport had 4,3 million passengers. This corresponds to an increase of 586.000 passengers, as reported by the Aero.de portal. Despite this development, the airport was unable to build on the pre-Corona year of 2019. In 2019, Hanover Airport was able to achieve a passenger volume of 6 million passengers, which cannot yet keep up with this year's forecast of 4,8 million passengers.
