From February 2025, four captains from the Luxembourg airline Luxair will acquire type certification for the new Embraer E2 from Helvetic Airways. The training, which will take place in Switzerland, is part of an expanded cooperation between the two airlines. After completing their training, the pilots will gain flight experience at Helvetic Airways in summer 2025 before returning to Luxair to oversee the introduction of the first Embraer E2 into Luxembourg's fleet.

This collaboration underlines Helvetic Airways' expertise in the field of aircraft training. Particularly noteworthy is the partnership with the Horizon SFA flight school, which is considered a reliable partner for the training of pilots in the Embraer fleet. Helvetic Airways has thus established itself as an important European point of contact for the training of pilots in the field of Embraer aircraft.

The Embraer E2 series represents an important addition to many airlines' fleets. With its improved efficiency and advanced technologies, it is increasingly being introduced in many European airlines.
