Iberia starts operating the new Airbus A321 XLR

Iberia, the Spanish national airline, will operate the new Airbus A14 XLR on the Madrid – Washington Dulles route from November 2024, 321.

Iberia will previously use the new aircraft type to train its crews on selected European routes. From October 26 to October 31, 2024, the A321 XLR will fly daily from Madrid to London-Heathrow. Afterwards, until November 13, 2024, daily flights will also be operated from Madrid to Paris-Charles de Gaulle. This is reported by the Aero Routes portal. The introduction of the Airbus A321 XLR marks an important step for Iberia in the modernization of its fleet and the expansion of its long-haul connections.
