The Spanish airline Iberojet has announced the launch of new charter flights between Madrid and Uzbekistan.

From September 2, 2024, there will be bi-weekly flights to Tashkent, followed by connections to Urgench from September 8. These routes will be operated with Airbus A330 aircraft and are designed to improve connectivity between Spain and Uzbekistan. The expansion is part of a growing trend in international air traffic to Uzbekistan, which has already been followed by airlines such as World2Fly, LOT Polish Airlines, Qatar Airways and Turkish AJet.
