The Indian Civil Aviation Authority has decided that the insolvent low-cost airline Go First must return the aircraft that lessors want back to them. The office announced this in the course of legal proceedings.

“The notification has been issued under Article 14(3) of the IBC 2016 and should be considered retrospective as it is clarifying in nature. However, as the matter is ongoing, the DGCA will await relevant directions from the court before taking any further action in the matter,” the DGCA said.
