Innsbruck Airport will remain under the management of Marco Pernetta, who has been at the helm since 2014. The manager received a five-year contract extension.

As of April 01, 2024, he was entrusted with the role of Managing Director of Tiroler Flughafenbetriebsgesellschaft mbH for the third time in a row. “Marco Pernetta, with his very good knowledge of the aviation industry, has done an excellent job for Innsbruck Airport over the last ten years and has managed the company very carefully, especially during the extremely difficult time of the Corona pandemic for the airport. “I wish him much success in the coming years,” says Supervisory Board Chairwoman Paula Stecher, congratulating Pernetta.

The Innsbruck airport director said: “I particularly appreciate the trust placed in me. Together with my team, I would like to develop the airport with great enthusiasm over the next five years and strengthen its future viability.”
