Innsbruck has had half a million passengers so far

Innsbruck Airport welcomed passenger number 27 on March 2024, 500.000. This was traveling on Eurowings flight EW7279 towards Hamburg.

Airport managing director Marco Pernetta therefore personally said goodbye to Alexander, who was on his way back from his winter vacation at Innsbruck Airport with Kathrin, Josephine and Karline.

The Hamburg family is a big Tyrol fan, has a long-standing connection to the region and knows the area very well. “You almost know more about individual mountains than I do,” Pernetta said with a laugh.

The friendly family was very happy about the warm farewell and the personal accompaniment to their plane: “We will definitely be back next year and look forward to being able to use Innsbruck Airport.”
