Italian national football team lands at Dortmund Airport

Dortmund Airport is preparing for a special visit: On June 10, 2024, the reigning European soccer champions Italy will land in Dortmund. As part of UEFA Euro 2024, an XXL version of the European Cup will also be presented in the airport departure hall on this day.

The ceremonial unveiling of the trophy will take place at 17:30 p.m. by Ludger van Bebber, the airport's managing director. The trophy will remain on display at the airport for three days, giving visitors the opportunity to take photos and get in the mood for the upcoming tournament. The trophy will then return to the German Football Museum on June 13, 2024.
