Italian state railways have launched a new high-speed train between Rome and Pompeii. This departs from Roma-Termini on Sundays at 8:53 a.m. and reaches its destination around 10:40 a.m.

Shuttle buses will then be waiting for visitors in front of the station. This will then take you to the archaeological site. The return trip leaves Pompeii at 18:40 p.m. and arrives in the capital around 20:55 p.m.
