At the end of the summer, Iberia will be the first airline in the world to take delivery of the new Airbus A321XLR. This model, known for its range and efficiency, has also attracted the interest of other airlines.

According to the portal *Aviation Week*, Yukio Nakagawa, the procurement chief of Japan Airlines (JAL), expressed interest in the aircraft. Although no decision has been made yet, Japan Airlines is examining whether the A321 XLR is suitable for the Japanese market.

The A321XLR, an extended version of the Airbus A321, offers longer range and improved fuel efficiency, making it attractive for long-haul flights and the international market. Japan Airlines' decision could have implications for the aircraft market in the region, particularly in terms of competition and aviation strategies.
