Kitzsteinhorn starts 2024/25 ski season earlier than planned

Thanks to intense snowfall in September and optimal weather conditions, the ski season on the Kitzsteinhorn in Kaprun will begin on October 5, 2024 – a week earlier than planned.

As Thomas Maierhofer, CEO of Gletscherbahnen Kaprun AG, explains, the use of the proven snow management system at over 2.500 meters enables the first winter sports activities. The slopes and lifts are continuously adapted to the snow and weather conditions.

The season tickets for the 2024/25 winter season are valid from October 12th and are currently available online and at all cable car ticket offices at the advance purchase price.
