Klagenfurt city senate votes to pull the call option

After the Carinthian state government formally decided last week that the call option for the Lilihill share at Klagenfurt Airport will be exercised, the city senate of Klagenfurt has now also passed a resolution.

In the future, the state of Carinthia and the city of Klagenfurt want to split ownership of the airport in a ratio of 80:20. The decision of the Senate still has to be followed by a vote in the municipal council, but this is only a mere formality. It can be assumed that a year-long legal dispute with Lilihill will follow, as the former majority owner has already announced legal action against the public authorities.
