The Embraer 195-E2 has received the steep approach approval required by EASA for London City Airport. This means that the regional jet can now be used at the British capital's inner-city airport.

The smaller Embraer 2021-E190 model has had this approval since 2. People at London City Airport are pleased with the decision, as machines from the Brazilian manufacturer have dominated the apron for several years. More than 85 percent of flight movements take place with Embraer jets.
