With its new Allegris cabin concept, Lufthansa is setting a milestone in premium aviation. In the future, passengers will be able to choose from a wide range of seating options in four classes of travel. The offer, which is aimed at diversity and individual needs, includes twelve seating variants and promises an improved travel experience - for both business travelers and families. The first flights with this innovation will start on March 30, 2025 on selected long-haul routes from Munich.

The Allegris cabin offers a comprehensive range of seating options, from Economy Class to First Class. Lufthansa's innovative spirit is particularly evident in Business Class: there are seven seating options to choose from, including extra-long reclining areas, larger seating areas and luxurious Business Class suites. While standard seats remain free of charge, passengers can expect to pay additional fees of between 100 and 400 euros for the premium options.

In Economy Class, Lufthansa enhances the travel experience with seats in rows with increased legroom, which can be booked for a surcharge of 50 euros. First Class sets new standards with spacious suites - here the choice is free, unless passengers want to use an exclusive double suite for themselves. In this case, surcharges of at least 1.900 euros apply.

Frequent flyer status brings benefits

The concept is particularly attractive for regular customers with frequent flyer status. According to Lufthansa, they can choose up to 80 percent of the seat options in Business Class at no extra cost. This regulation underlines the airline's efforts to retain loyal customers through exclusive benefits.

Targeted introduction and gradual expansion

The new concept will initially be introduced on the routes from Munich to Shanghai, San Francisco and Chicago. In the coming months, further destinations will be gradually added to increase the attractiveness of the offer. By gradually converting its A350 fleet, Lufthansa is underlining its commitment to making the Allegris innovation widely available.
