The shipping company MSC Cruises has launched its latest flagship, the MSC World Asia, which is scheduled to set sail in the Mediterranean starting in December 2026. The ship will offer a comprehensive and innovative range of entertainment options for its guests. Travelers can look forward to a mix of new entertainment venues and tried-and-true classics designed to enrich the cruise experience.

New features on board include " The Clubhouse ," a vibrant meeting place with retro-inspired elements. Designed for families, this area offers play and creative activities such as board games, the LEGO Family Zone, bumper cars, and roller skating. The Luna Park Arena boasts a redesigned, versatile venue spanning two decks. Here, interactive game shows and themed parties are brought to life with LED walls, ceiling projections, dynamic lighting, and impressive sound. By day, it serves as youth entertainment; by night, it transforms into the central party location with DJ sets and a redesigned bar.

" The Harbour " returns to MSC World Asia with an elegant, Asian-inspired design. This expansive outdoor area offers spectacular attractions such as the " Cliffhanger ," an overwater swing 50 meters high, and the "Tree of Life @The Spiral," the longest dry slide at sea at 81,3 meters and spanning 12 decks. Families can also enjoy a ropes course, water slides, and a playground. The "Harbour Bar & Bites" provides complimentary snacks. The ship will feature over 40 bars, lounges, and restaurants, including six specialty restaurants such as the classics "Butcher's Cut," "Kaito Sushi & Teppanyaki," and "Hola! Tacos & Cantina." New restaurant concepts are also in development.

In addition, the MSC World Asia offers over 20 different cabin types, including luxurious suites and family cabins. The exclusive MSC Yacht Club , a "ship within a ship" concept, boasts 144 luxurious suites, a private restaurant, lounge, pool, and 24-hour butler service. Extensive family offerings, including kids' clubs and childcare for babies to teenagers, as well as water slides and interactive shows, complete the program. Guests can relax in the adults-only Zen pools, the spacious Aurea Spa, and a modern fitness center. Seven pools and 13 whirlpools, including a retractable pool, provide plenty of opportunities for aquatic enjoyment. The MSC World Asia will operate seven-night cruises in the Western Mediterranean during the winter of 2026/27, calling at Barcelona , Marseille , Genoa , Civitavecchia (for Rome), Messina , and Valletta . It will also sail in the Mediterranean during the summer of 2027.
