For a few days now, Marabu Airlines has been offering twice-weekly flights from Münster/Osnabrück to the Greek island of Crete. The route to Heraklion will be operated a total of six times a week in summer.

To ceremoniously welcome the first flight, the aircraft, an Airbus A320, was welcomed with a traditional water fountain by the FMO airport fire department. The new connection expands the offerings of Münster/Osnabrück Airport and offers travelers from the region a direct way to reach the popular holiday destination of Crete.
