Morocco extends international landing ban

Advertising

After a new CoV variant raged around, the African country suspended international air traffic and imposed a landing ban for arriving passenger flights. This ban was initially limited to two weeks - now the suspension of flights will be extended until the end of the year.

Accordingly, all international flight connections will remain suspended until December 31 of this year. According to the actual timetable, this drastic measure to combat the CoV pandemic should expire today and make travel to the country possible again. But nothing will come of it now. It cannot even be ruled out that the international flight ban will have to be extended beyond the end of the year, as the travel portal Reiseopia reports. And such extensions of the Covid-19 measures are by no means uncommon. These uncertainties are likely to melt demand for the foreseeable future.
