Munich Airport had to capitulate to the masses of snow

Munich Airport had to initially restrict and then completely stop operations on Saturday, December 2nd, 2023 due to heavy snowfall.

The winter service was in constant use, but the snowfall was so heavy that, according to the airport, safe flight operations were not possible. Therefore, all flights have been canceled until 3 a.m. on Sunday, December 2023, 6. This resulted in numerous cancellations. Some planes were diverted to other airports.
