After almost three months of the “ghost airport”, the Bavarian capital airport is also returning to life. Little by little, restaurants and shops are opening their doors again.

The first shops and restaurants are opening again in Terminal 2 of the Franz-Josef-Strauss Airport in Munich. At the same time, flight operations are gradually starting up again. Some of the opening times are still limited.

The airport explains in a broadcast that around a dozen of the shops are waiting for customers again. In the area of gastronomy there are currently eight bars and restaurants, including the airport brewery and beer garden.
