Eurowings has launched a new direct connection between Stuttgart and Dublin with the start of its 2025 summer flight schedule. Four times a week – Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays – a flight will depart from Stuttgart Airport (STR) to the Irish capital. This will offer travelers from Baden-Württemberg a year-round non-stop connection to Ireland for the first time.

Ulrich Heppe, Managing Director of Stuttgart Airport, emphasized the importance of the new route, as many people from the region have long waited for a direct connection. In addition to the metropolis of Dublin, the rest of Ireland, with its history and landscape, is also an attractive destination for tourists.

The connection also has economic relevance. Wolfgang Häfele, Honorary Consul General of Ireland, sees it as an important step for economic and cultural relations between Baden-Württemberg and Ireland. The direct flights not only facilitate business travel but also promote tourism and cooperation in the fields of technology, research, and innovation.
