Skyup Airlines Malta is expanding its route network and launching a new non-stop service between the Moldovan capital Chișinău and Berlin. The airline announced that the route will operate twice weekly, on Wednesdays and Fridays, starting June 4, 2025. A Boeing 737-700 aircraft is planned for use on the new route.

The launch of this new connection underscores Skyup Airlines' commitment to further expanding its European route network. Berlin will thus become another important destination directly accessible from Chișinău. This should be of interest to both business travelers and tourists, strengthening the economic and cultural ties between Moldova and Germany. Skyup Airlines, with Ukrainian roots and an operational base in Malta, is increasingly focusing on expanding its flight offerings from Chișinău.

The airline plans to operate the route with a Boeing 737-700. This aircraft type typically seats approximately 149 passengers and has a range of approximately 6.200 kilometers. Skyup Airlines currently operates a fleet of Boeing aircraft, including both the 737-700 and the Boeing 737-800. The exact flight times for the new connection will be announced at a later date. The launch of the flights is another step toward improving Moldova's connections to Western European cities.
