The construction of Noida International Airport (IATA code: DXN) is progressing at a brisk pace with significant progress being made on the runway, passenger terminal and control tower. The final concessions for ground handling, commercial operations and key maintenance contracts have been awarded and agreements have been signed with several airlines for future flight operations.
The airport is scheduled to open at the end of April 2025. The project team is working closely with Tata Projects Limited and other specialist companies to ensure timely completion. According to current forecasts, the investment framework of around 750 million Swiss francs remains within the planned budget. The main construction work is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2024.
Noida International Airport will connect Greater Delhi and western Uttar Pradesh with national and international destinations. In the first phase, the airport will have one runway, a passenger terminal with ten on-site stands and 15 additional open stands, and will be able to handle 12 million passengers annually. The airport concession has been running since 2021 and is valid for 40 years.
