On behalf of the tour operator Tui Deutschland, Smartlynx carried out the first charter flight from Nuremberg to Rhodes on Saturday morning. According to the airport, the machine is said to have been fully booked and the Tui summer program has now started.

From now on and well into autumn, the Greek sun destinations of Crete, Kos and Rhodes will be served several times a week. Once a week there is also a trip to the Canary Islands Fuerteventura and Gran Canaria. Hurghada in Egypt is to complement the program later this summer. A total of up to eleven weekly flights are offered for Tui.

The short-term, seasonal flight offer will be operated by SmartLynx Airlines until the end of the Bavarian autumn vacation. An Airbus A320 with 180 seats is used. This complements the existing tourist flight offers from Corendon Airlines and Eurowings during the peak travel season.
