Nuremberg Airport is continuing to convert its vehicle fleet to emission-free drives.

The existing electric tractors and special vehicles are now being joined by two electric transporters and six minibuses, which are mainly used for short distances on the airport grounds. Further electric vehicles, including passenger buses, are already being planned. To support its sustainability strategy, the airport is also using the environmentally friendly diesel fuel HVO 100 and is investing in its own electricity production through photovoltaic systems.
