Oceania Cruises introduces exclusive wine menu with Gérard Bertrand

 The shipping company Oceania Cruises expands its culinary offering on board its ships with an exclusive six-course lunch menu, accompanied by corresponding wines from the southern French winemaker Gérard Bertrand This new “Food and Wine Pairing Lunch” will be available on board the new ship from 18 July 2025 Oceania Allura The introduction at the Oceania Vista follows in September, and by 2026 the exclusive menu will also be available on the Oceania Marina and Oceania Riviera be available.

This special lunchtime experience is limited to a maximum of 40 participants per date and is served on select days of each trip at the French specialty restaurant " Jacques ." The cost is US$175 per person, plus gratuity. The menu has been designed to pair select dishes with complementary wines from the portfolio of the renowned winemaker. Gérard Bertrand is known for his wines from Languedoc-Roussillon , a region in southern France prized for its diverse grape varieties and unique terroir.

The wines served are organically and biodynamically produced and are intended to reflect the terroir of southern France. The menu includes dishes such as Ossetra caviar on potato fritters, short rib of beef with potato cake, and a golden chocolate dessert. Each course is paired with a carefully selected wine, including the "Clos du Temple" rosé and the "Clos d'Ora" from the Minervois La Livinière appellation . These wines represent the finest offerings of Gérard Bertrand.

With this new format, Oceania Cruises is further expanding its range of customizable culinary experiences. It complements existing, high-class offerings such as the "Moët & Chandon Champagne Experience" and the "Dom Pérignon Dinner." The cruise line is known for its focus on fine dining and exclusive onboard experiences designed to appeal to the tastes of discerning travelers.
