At Memmingen Airport, a 36-year-old man opened an emergency exit to get to the apron after missing his boarding.

The incident occurred on Wednesday evening when the passenger used the emergency exit without permission in the hope of catching his flight to Albania. However, airport staff stopped the man and led him back to the terminal. The police have now charged the passenger with trespassing. Such security breaches are rare but can have serious consequences for the people involved. The incident did not cause any further disruption to airport operations and there were no delays to air traffic.
