The Ukraine Peace Conference will take place in Switzerland on the weekend of 15 and 16 June 2024, which will lead to increased traffic and enhanced security measures at Zurich Airport.

Numerous state representatives travel via Zurich Airport, which places additional strain on the infrastructure. This could affect the punctuality of scheduled services. Passengers are advised to check the airport's website in advance for possible delays.

The observation decks will remain closed from June 14 to 16 and public airport tours will be cancelled. Additional security measures will also be taken along the airport fence. The Federal Office of Civil Aviation (FOCA) has adjusted the night flight restrictions for the nights of June 15/16 and June 16/17, 2024, so that delayed scheduled flights can take off and land until 02:00 a.m. Flights by state aircraft are permitted without restriction during these nights.
