Pegasus Airlines now offers flights from Bremen Airport to Istanbul three times a week. In addition to Turkish Airlines, Pegasus now also flies to the Asian side of the Turkish metropolis, more precisely to Istanbul-Sabiha Gökçen Airport, the second largest airport in Turkey.

This new connection strengthens the international network of Bremen Airport and serves the increasing demand for flights to Turkey. Senator for Economic Affairs Kristina Vogt welcomes the expansion as an important boost for economic and tourist relations between Bremen and Istanbul. Özlem Ünsal, Senator for Construction and Mobility, also emphasizes the importance of this new connection for travelers from northern Germany.
