Advertising

A tragic plane crash occurred in Korschenbroich on the Lower Rhine on Saturday, May 31, 2025, killing two people. A single-engine Beechcraft B36TC Bonanza with the registration D-EHVM crashed into the grounds of a residential building around noon.

Authorities confirmed that one of the two deceased was a 71-year-old female pilot. It initially remained unclear whether the second fatality was a passenger on the plane or a resident of the house on whose terrace the plane crashed.

The impact caused a fire, which approximately 50 firefighters were able to extinguish within an hour. German police have launched an investigation to determine the cause of the crash. No details have been released yet as to what led to the accident.
