Print Friendly, PDF & Email

The planned airline Riyadh Air has not yet flown a meter, but preparations are in full swing because they want to work closely with Turkish Airlines in the future.

Both companies announced on Monday, December 4, 2023 that an LOI, which should lead to codeshare and interlining cooperation, had been signed. There should also be cooperation on the frequent flyer programs.

Riyadh Air is currently being set up and is intended to become a larger network carrier that will compete with Emirates and Etihad Airways, among others. Numerous machines have already been ordered for long-haul, short- and medium-haul routes. It is expected that there will be one or two “re-orders”.
