The popular musical “The Christmas Bakery“ with the well-known songs of Rolf Zuckowski will be performed in Stuttgart for the first time in winter 2025. From November to December 2025, the piece will be performed in Stage Palladium Theater make the magic of the pre-Christmas season come alive for the whole family. The production, which originally came from the Hamburg Schmidt's Tivoli is considered one of the most popular Christmas stories in German theater.
The musical tells of the magic of the pre-Christmas season, the scent of freshly baked cookies, and the value of family togetherness. Generations of children and adults have grown up with Rolf Zuckowski's songs such as "Winterkinder," "Es schneit," and the title song "In der Weihnachtsbäckerei." These melodies, full of humor and warmth, celebrate the anticipation of Christmas and become an unforgettable experience for young and old in this production. Rolf Zuckowski himself expressed his delight at the upcoming premiere in Stuttgart: "'The Christmas Bakery' is more than a musical – it is an emotional celebration for the whole family, which carries a very special story. Performances at the Stage Palladium Theater begin with the premiere on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. Additional dates are spread throughout November and December, including several performances just before Christmas and between the holidays.
