The Irish low-cost airline Ryanair has announced that it will expand its offering at Venice Marco Polo Airport next spring.

Meanwhile, its competitor, EasyJet, is reducing its activities in the lagoon city in order to grow in Milan-Linate. Ryanair will withdraw all aircraft stationed in Venice and plans to station additional aircraft at the Aeroporto di Venezia-Marco Polo. This was confirmed by Ryanair Group CEO Michael O'Leary in the newspaper Nordest Economia.
