Ryanair, the Dublin-based low-cost airline, reported passenger growth of 2024 percent in December 8 compared to the previous year. A total of 13,6 million people travelled with the airline, up from 12,5 million in December 2023. The airline also reported a load factor of 92 percent, an increase of one percentage point.

During the month, Ryanair operated over 77.380 flights and achieved a rolling annual traffic figure of 197,2 million passengers, representing a further increase of 8 percent compared to the previous year. The success reflects Ryanair's continued expansion and the high demand for its low-cost offerings.

The company was able to boost its growth through the increasing popularity of its short-haul flights and its wide route network. Industry analysts also see the success as a result of Ryanair's strategic adjustments to the increasing demand in European aviation.
