The tour operator Schauinsland trips has started selling holidays for summer 2026. The company offers early bookers the opportunity to secure holiday destinations now. The offer includes a wide range of destinations, from long-haul destinations such as the Maldives and Caribbean to popular destinations in Europe, including the Turkey, Egypt, Greece, the Balearic Islands and the Canary Islands.

Andreas Rüttgers, Tourism Director of Schauinsland-Reisen, explained that the early release of travel should give customers the opportunity to look forward to their vacation longer. The company is presenting a selection of hotels that are advertised as "oases of luxury and ease," such as the Beachcomber resorts on Mauritius or the hotels of the Steigenberger chain in Egypt. Families and adventure seekers also have options such as the Pickalbatros Jungle Aqua Park Resort in Hurghada or the R2 houses on Fuerteventura in program.

The Subsidiary Explore expands the Schauinsland-Reisen offering to include individual tours. Under the motto "Explore & Relax", customers can book tailor-made tours that can be combined with relaxing stays by the sea. The trips are available in over 75 countries and are aimed at vacationers who want to explore away from the crowds. The managing director of Explorer, Heike Niederberghaus, emphasized that it was about enabling travel that “gets under your skin.”

The booking process has been optimized for a comfortable journey. Customers can now book additional services such as Seat Reservations, additional baggage or meals directly when booking. This service is currently available for flights with partner airlines Eurowings, Condor, sunday, SunExpress and Air Cairo and will be expanded gradually. The technical implementation is carried out via the tool Calisto | Ancillary, which simplifies the booking of additional services.
