The Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore has granted type certificate to the Embraer E190-E2 and E195-E2 aircraft. This means that these can be used to/from Singapore.

The low-cost airline Scoot plans to start next year to use nine E190-E2. Since there was no approval from Singapore yet, the manufacturer had to obtain it. This means that nothing stands in the way of fleet entry and operation by the low-coster.
