Steyr and the National Park Region invite you to the Trail Running Challenge 2024

Under the motto “Terrain instead of road” the 2024 trail running challenge starts in the Steyr and National Park region and runs until October 26, 2024. Participants can choose from four different formats: LIGHT, CLASSIC, EXTREME and the new Weekend Challenge. These formats offer different levels of difficulty and route lengths, from 58 kilometers in the LIGHT format to 264 kilometers in the EXTREME format.

The new weekend challenge is aimed particularly at holidaymakers and trail running beginners who are only staying in the region for a short time. Here you can choose from six trails, three routes covering distances between 6,3 and 23,7 kilometers.

To take part in the challenge, runners must record their routes via GPS and submit them by October 26, 2024 [email protected] send. All participants who submit their tracks will take part in a raffle with attractive prizes in the fall. In addition, the runs can be shared on social media with the hashtag #trailchallengesteyr and tagged with @visitsteyrnationalpark.

The Trail Running Challenge offers a great opportunity to discover the region's scenic trails and get active, regardless of your individual pace or ability level.
