Stockholm: Novair is about to close

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

Stockholm-based airline Novair is throwing in the towel. The company is currently preparing for voluntary liquidation because after the former owner - a tour operator - let the charter contract expire, it has not found any new customers.

Novair now belongs to the same group of companies as the Danish Jettime. It operates two Airbus A321neo medium-haul jets. The carrier has been on the market for 26 years and previously also had Lockheed L-1011, A330-200 and Boeing 737-800. Before the fleet was changed to the A321neo, there were three Airbus A321ceos.

Novair is scheduled to finally cease operations in October 2023. If we manage to find a replacement for Apollo's expiring order, things could still go ahead. However, they no longer expect this and are therefore already preparing to close it.
