With the start of the autumn holidays in Baden-Württemberg, Stuttgart Airport is expecting a significant increase in passenger numbers. Around 170.000 travelers are expected during this period.

Particularly busy destinations are Istanbul, Antalya and Palma de Mallorca. The airport advises passengers to arrive at least two hours before departure, as there may be waiting times at security checks. For the whole of 2024, Flughafen Stuttgart GmbH expects passenger volume to reach 9,1 million, which corresponds to an increase of 8,9 percent compared to the previous year.
