The Kapers and Swiss unions have agreed on a new collective employment contract for cabin crew. Among other things, this stipulates that the basic salary should increase by 400 Swiss francs per month.

Furthermore, rosters are to be distributed earlier in the future and new part-time working models are to be introduced. There is also the option to choose between variable remuneration with profit-sharing or a pro-rata 13th monthly salary. In the future, flight attendants should also have seven fixed days off per month.

The affected employees still have to give their consent. A vote will be held by December 19, 2023. If accepted, the new collective employment agreement should come into force on January 1, 2024.
