Swiss International Air Lines (Swiss) is now extending its renowned "Pre-Select" service, which allows passengers to select their meals in advance, to Business Class passengers departing from Geneva. The airline announced that these passengers can choose their preferred main course from a selection of six hot dishes up to 24 hours before departure. This offer is valid for flights departing after 10:XNUMX a.m.

The menu selection also includes two special creations: a fish dish inspired by the "Swiss Taste of Switzerland" series, which is typically only offered on long-haul flights, and the traditional Zurich veal strips with rösti, a classic of Swiss cuisine. The remaining four options consist of two vegetarian and two meat dishes. The "Pre-Select" feature provides passengers with an expanded menu selection, complemented as usual by salad, cheese, and dessert.

This free offering not only allows travelers to customize their onboard dining experience, but also contributes to more sustainable resource management, according to Swiss. Optimized meal planning reduces unnecessary food disposal and thus avoids waste. Pre-ordering of "Pre-Select" meals is possible online via the Swiss website starting six weeks and up to 24 hours before departure. The current meal offering will remain in place for flights departing before 10:XNUMX a.m.
