Swiss launches new long-haul cabin on A350

The newly ordered Airbus A350 aircraft will be delivered directly from the factory with the new interior. Starting in early 2026, the cabin product will be gradually integrated into the airline's existing long-haul fleet. The plan is to retrofit the Airbus A330– as well as that Boeing 777-aircraft. With the introduction of the new cabin, Swiss aims to improve service and the travel experience for customers and strengthen its competitiveness on long-haul routes.

The strategic decision to modernize its fleet and introduce a new cabin concept is a response to increasing competition, particularly on lucrative long-haul routes. Swiss is responding to the offerings of other premium airlines that are also investing in new cabin concepts to position themselves in the upscale travel segment.
