Swiss takes the culinary experience for its first and business class passengers on long-haul flights from Switzerland to a new level. From today on, the finest culinary delights will be served from the renowned “Restaurant de l'Hôtel de Ville” in Crissier VD, created by top chef Franck Giovannini.
The “Restaurant de l'Hôtel de Ville” has been awarded three Michelin stars and 19 Gault-Millau points and is considered a showcase for first-class enjoyment. Franck Giovannini, who has been chef de cuisine and managing director of the gourmet restaurant since 2016, is now bringing his culinary creations on board Swiss.
Julia Hillenbrand, Head of Brand Experience at Swiss, emphasizes the innovative strength of Franck Giovannini, who cleverly presents seasonal and regional components in his dishes. First Class passengers can look forward to delicious starters such as scampo with tomato mousse and main courses such as veal fillet mignon. In business class, the menu includes beef fillet and grilled chicken breast.
The gastronomy concept “Swiss Taste of Switzerland” has been offering unique culinary experiences on board since 2002. This partnership continues the tradition of presenting regional specialties and seasonal ingredients in exquisite menus.
