Swiss International Air Lines (Swiss) has decided to suspend its flights from Zurich to Tel Aviv (LX252) and back (LX253) until August 8, 2024.

Connections to Beirut will also remain suspended until August 12. This decision was made after a careful review of the security situation in the Middle East. Swiss is in close contact with its employees in Tel Aviv and is offering them the opportunity to leave the country.

The airline regrets the inconvenience to passengers, but stresses that the safety of passengers and crew is its top priority. Affected passengers will be contacted and given the opportunity to rebook their flights free of charge or receive a full refund of the ticket price. Swiss is continuously monitoring the situation in the Middle East and is in close contact with the relevant authorities.
