Karlsruhe/Baden-Baden Airport (FKB) launched its new summer flight schedule on March 30, 2025, just in time for the switch to daylight saving time. This marks the beginning of the holiday travel season to popular destinations, and the airport is well prepared for the expected influx of travelers. The flight schedule bears many parallels to 2024, but also includes new connections and increased frequencies for popular destinations.

The 2025 summer flight schedule places a special focus on the popular southern holiday destinations. Spain remains the leader with nine connections, followed by Italy with six and Greece with five destinations. New this year, for example, Ryanair now also offers flights to Gran Canaria, Seville, Tenerife, and Thessaloniki in the summer, which were previously only available in the winter. Sarajevo is also being added to the route network, and Tel Aviv is also returning.

In addition to these changes, the popular destination Antalya will see increased flights again in the spring, operated by both Freebird and Corendon Airlines. Starting March 30, Eurowings will also serve Palma up to twice a day. The airport is expecting record numbers again and is targeting more than two million passengers for the first time in 2025, up from 1,8 million in 2024. Airport officials advise travelers to allow sufficient time for their journey, especially due to construction work in the airport area.
