The members of the Verdi union have accepted the collective agreement for Lufthansa ground staff. Around 25.000 employees are affected and, among other things, will receive more pay in the future.

According to Verdi's announcement, 94,5 percent of members were in favor of the new collective agreement. The outcome of the negotiations was worked out during a three-day mediation and accepted by both sides. Verdi had previously repeatedly called for strikes.
